Countryside Self-Catered Holiday Getaways In The Heart Of Beautiful North Yorkshire

The Johnson Family have been lucky enough to call Mallard Grange home since 1933 and farming is very much a way of life here. We produce great quality food and are dedicated to farming in a sustainable way to protect the environment, care for our farm animals and the abundant wildlife that share this beautiful spot with us.

Alongside the farm, we have run a Bed and Breakfast business for many years within the main farmhouse and converted Blacksmith Shop. This has evolved into separate self catering accommodation with the creation of The Nestbox in 2021, followed by The Hideout Loft in 2024.

Our ambition is to offer a taste of country living in a unique space where you can enjoy a private break away, a romantic retreat or simply a quiet refuge from the busy world.

We ask for a minimum stay of 2 nights with arrivals on Monday and Wednesday if possible during the week if and weekends from Friday to Sunday or Monday mornings. Please contact us if you have any special requests or requirements. A good continental breakfast basket can be provided for and additional cost.
